FAQ

Answers to the most common questions.

How does the free trial work?
On your first sign-in, a 7-day trial is created automatically.
Are my private spots visible to others?
No. Your private spots are only visible to you while your access is active.
Can I change the language?
Yes, via the language menu at the top. Your choice is remembered.
Does SpotAquaGeo replace legislation, permits, or official sources?
No. SpotAquaGeo is a decision-support tool (conditions, mapping, educational content). You remain responsible for complying with local rules, seasons, legal sizes, and purchasing permits from the competent authorities.
Are weather and river flow/water data guaranteed to be accurate?
Weather depends on a third-party provider and may be missing or incorrect. In V1, flow/water information may be simplified or estimated: always cross-check official sources (especially for safety and navigation).
Who can see my private spots and my logbook?
Private spots and logbook entries are tied to your account and are not exposed to other users through the app’s intended features. Limited technical/admin access may exist for security/support (see the privacy policy).
Can I request access, correction, or deletion of my data?
Yes. Use the “Personal data” page and/or contact us. We respond within a reasonable timeframe (target: within 30 days).
How long do you keep my contact form messages?
Messages are kept as long as necessary to handle your request and for evidence if needed, then deleted or anonymized according to obligations.
Do you use advertising cookies or tracking?
V1: mainly technical cookies required for operation (session, security). No advertising profiling described in the cookie policy. If this changes, the policy will be updated.
What happens if my subscription expires?
Subscription-related features may be limited. Your data is not automatically “published”: see the Terms for product impacts.
Can I use SpotAquaGeo as an emergency service (e.g., 112)?
No. SpotAquaGeo is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, use official emergency channels.
